Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks a Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support multifamily new construction projects across the Southeast and beyond.

You will help manage project staff, coordinate with subcontractors, monitor safety, planning, and scheduling to ensure milestones are met while maintaining quality and budget discipline. Candidates should have exterior and hardscape experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable traveling full-time for 12–24 months on

Qualifications

3+ years of industry construction experience within the MULTIFAMILY NEW construction (not rehab/remodel) industry.
Prefer Construction Management or related degree.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with employees and subcontractors on production and schedules.
Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety and plans.
Coordinate project activities with Company personnel.
Review status reports, shop drawings, and modifications for schedules.
Meet with project personnel to discuss and resolve problems.
Assist in directing, coordinating, and evaluating the project including safety, resources, and budget.
Review and submit works and change orders to the superintendent.
Attend and direct project status meetings and assist in problem solving.
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by site and company management.
Travel full-time is required.
