Job summary

U.S. Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant (Mohs) to support dermatology and Mohs surgery across Plano, Dallas, and Corsicana locations.

You will assist physicians, manage sterile technique, and help prepare patients for procedures while documenting care in the EMA system. The role requires at least 1 year in a medical setting, a strong grasp of medical terminology, and excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to document patient information accurately in the EHR.
• Excellent communication and interpersonnel skills for patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Take patients' vital signs and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
• Assist physicians during Mohs surgery while maintaining a sterile field.
• Explain procedures, medications, and wound care instructions to patients.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate with care teams, and manage orders and specimens.
