Preferred Dermatology Partners in McKinney, TX is seeking a Clinical Mohs Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced clinical team. You will support providers in dermatologic and surgical care, prepare exam rooms, and help ensure efficient patient flow in a high-volume setting.

The role emphasizes precise documentation, instrument sterilization, and collaboration across locations. Prior dermatology MA and Mohs experience are strongly preferred, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Dermatology medical assistant experience required.
• Mohs surgery assisting experience preferred.
• Proficient with EMA/Modernizing Medicine.
• Strong communication and patient care skills; calm, organized multitasker.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and exam rooms for procedures including skin checks, biopsies, excisions and Mohs surgery.
• Assist during Mohs and dermatologic procedures with precision.
• Document patient visits in EMA accurately.
• Maintain clean, stocked and organized procedure rooms.
• Sterilize instruments per protocol and safety standards.
• Triage patient calls and relay relevant messages.
• Submit prescription refills as directed by providers.
• Ensure pathology and lab reports are uploaded for follow-ups.
• Contribute to teamwork, respect, and high standards of care.
