Job summary

Suncoast Skin Solutions is seeking a Traveling Mohs Technician to support Mohs labs and ensure regulatory compliance across our Florida offices. The role requires travel to Ocala, Lecanto, Leesburg, Mount Dora and The Villages, handling 10-15 cases per day.

You will maintain supplies, operate lab equipment, prepare slides and documentation, and assist with regulatory inspections. This is a full-time position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher preferred
• Knowledge of computer programs and EMR systems
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Mohs tech / histotech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain par levels for all supplies required for tissue processing
• Ensure maintenance of capital equipment per standards
• Submit reports to the Lab Director in a timely manner
• Travel between Ocala, Lecanto, Leesburg, Mount Dora and The Villages as needed
• Prepare cassettes and slides for microscopic examination
• Perform daily QA/QC tests and document results
• Assist with regulatory inspections and compliance activities
