Suncoast is seeking a Traveling Mohs Technician to cover Mohs labs across Ocala and Lecanto, with regional support for Leesburg, Mount Dora, and The Villages. You will maintain histology lab operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and travel between sites to support vacations and absences.

The role requires performing 10–15 Mohs cases per day, maintaining supplies, and operating laboratory equipment according to standards, with driving responsibilities for the Mohs van.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or AS degree preferred.
• Mohs tech/histotech experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lab computer systems and EMR systems.

Responsabilités

• Maintain par levels for all supplies; ensure maintenance of capital equipment.
• Submit reports to the Lab Director in a timely manner.
• Operate the Mohs van safely and travel between locations.
• Prepare tissue sections and slides for microscopic examination.
• Perform daily Quality Control and QA tests; maintain documentation.
