Job summary

Suncoast Skin Solutions is seeking a Traveling Lab Assistant to support Mohs labs across Brandon and Tampa Bay regional sites. You will drive between locations, maintain specimens, prepare slides, and ensure regulatory compliance in a physician practice environment.

Responsibilities include processing tissue, logging samples, operating the lab computer system, and assisting the Lab Director as needed. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• AS or bachelor’s degree in science or similar required.
• Knowledge of computer programs and EMR systems.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; customer service focused.
• Ability to commute/relocate and work in person.

Responsibilities

• Assist Mohs lab operations and travel to sites as needed.
• Maintain logs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Operate lab equipment and prepare slides for analysis.
• Maintain inventory and par levels for supplies.
• Prepare specimens and perform staining and labeling as required.
• Ensure accurate specimen identification and logging.
