Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment across multiple locations. You will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, following blueprints, schematics, and safety procedures.

The role requires travel between Company sites, hands-on welding (MIG/TIG/ARC), and the ability to read maintenance literature in English. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Equipment maintenance knowledge – minimum of 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Installs and troubleshoots industrial equipment, systems, and components per blueprints and specifications.
• Performs maintenance to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems following safety procedures.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and complies with regulations.
• Travel to multiple company locations to perform duties.
• Performs welding activities (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing) as needed.
