Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a full-time traveling Superintendent for Mechanical and Electrical systems on advanced technology projects, including Data Centers, Pharmaceuticals, and EV/Battery initiatives.

The role requires leading MEPS trades, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence. This position reports to the Project Superintendent/Manager and involves 100% travel across assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of formal engineering or architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Thorough knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures.
• Proficiency with BIM and Microsoft Office suite; ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor on MEPS systems.
• Develop schedules, determine sequencing, and implement recovery strategies to maintain project timeline and budget.
• Manage site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety codes.
• Provide input on performance appraisals and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns.
• Coordinate with engineers on 3D model coordination and master drawing sets.
