Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Dayton area locations. The role involves traveling between Dayton and Vandalia on a regular basis and supporting front-desk operations, patient check-in, insurance data collection, and appointment scheduling.

The ideal candidate will handle multi-line phones, greet patients and vendors, perform data entry into EHR systems, and assist management and physicians while maintaining a high level of patient service and administrative

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other data
• Data entry into EHR systems
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
