Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead on-site installation quality and safety across multiple customer locations. The role requires up to 100% travel to sites and collaboration with customers and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, experience with AGVS/AS/RS or conveyors, and a strong focus on quality assurance, reporting, and on-site training.

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is helpful.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts with OT.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor work.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions as needed.
• Oversee on-site safety, conduct safety audits.
• Assist with equipment trials to meet specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager or customer.
• Train contract labor and subcontractors in installation of equipment.
• Write clear trip reports within required timeframes.
• Identify problems and propose practical solutions.
• Travel up to 100% on short notice and be on-call as needed.
• Push, pull, crawl, squat, and walk on large construction sites across climates.
