Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance across SC/NC markets, with a focus on Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson. The role requires regular travel, vendor negotiations, and staff coordination to ensure resident satisfaction and seamless operations.

The ideal candidate has HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical knowledge, EPA certifications, and strong budgeting skills. Travel, leadership, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive multi-site property maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I and II technician certification per approved program.
• Certified Pool Operator.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations (federal/state).
• Knowledge of expense control and financial management.
• Multifamily leasing, sales and/or customer service experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Acts as support to Maintenance Supervisors or staff by filling in at properties lacking coverage.
• Collaborates with Director of Maintenance, VPs, and Area Management Team to ensure high levels of service.
• Identifies and prioritizes projects; solicits pricing to stay within budgets.
• Executes capital projects as directed by leadership.
• Advises on candidates available to be hired or promoted.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Job functions may be added, deleted, or modified by NHE management.
