Job summary

The Maintenance Manager at comstock oversees the daily operation of onsite maintenance teams across multiple communities, ensuring 100% uptime, safety, and resident satisfaction while traveling between properties.

This role requires extensive experience in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), strong leadership, budgeting input, and the ability to manage contractors while maintaining compliance and quality service for luxury residential communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Master Electrician and Plumbing certification preferred.
• At least 10 years of Residential maintenance experience.
• At least 8 years building facilities operation experience in a luxury apartment.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in facilities management.
• Building automation systems experience required.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide Class A customer service and build rapport with residents.
• Manage staff with assignment, supervision, and direction responsibilities.
• Ensure prompt and efficient service by maintenance team members.
• Partner with Property Manager on budgets, forecasts, and financial reviews.
• Develop multi-year capital project plans and manage execution.
• Oversee condition and preventive maintenance programs for key asset systems.
• Perform site inspections and ensure turnovers and work orders are completed on time.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure safety compliance across sites.
