Job summary

IES is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Low voltage) to lead a dynamic team and travel 100% to oversee projects from start to finish. This is a career position focusing on safety, quality, staffing and financial performance across assigned projects.

The Project Manager coordinates design, procurement and installation, communicates with clients, and drives profitability. A telecommunications or related construction background and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical or construction field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Experience in customer interface, liaison between customer and company.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage and supervise project staff per company policies.
• Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and installation progress.
• Plan for and manage project profitability to meet company goals.
• Review job cost postings, invoices, collections and financial reporting.
• Manage quality and safety issues on customer work; participate in bid processes.
