Job summary

Greenawalt Hospitality seeks a Traveling Event Production Manager to prepare, build, operate, and break down live events across the Southeast and other regions. You’ll oversee production, crew coordination, equipment management, transportation logistics, and on‑site support, working closely with Event Managers and leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline is a plus
• Previous experience in event production, live entertainment, construction, hospitality, logistics, or operational support preferred
• Leadership, supervisory, or crew management experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for company vehicle insurance coverage
• Ability to lift, carry, load, unload, and move event equipment throughout the workday
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Availability for overnight travel, weekends, evenings, holidays, and changing event schedules

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the physical setup and breakdown of event spaces and hospitality installations
• Organize daily production schedules and crew assignments
• Assist with on‑site operations and changing event requirements
• Ensure equipment and work areas are prepared before events begin
• Troubleshoot operational issues to keep projects on schedule
• Assist with loading trucks, trailers, and event equipment
• Coordinate equipment staging, placement, and movement at sites
• Support transportation and deployment planning for regional and national events
• Monitor equipment usage and maintain accountability for supplies
• Manage post‑event equipment recovery and return procedures
• Identify missing or damaged equipment and communicate concerns
