Job summary

Greenawalt Hospitality seeks a Live Event Operations Manager to coordinate and execute live events nationwide. You will lead event teams, manage on-site logistics, and ensure equipment, schedules, and service areas run smoothly.

The role combines hands-on production with operational management, requiring strong leadership and the ability to adapt quickly on-site. Significant travel is involved across the Southeast and beyond.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; hospitality, business, operations or logistics education considered a plus.
• Experience in live events, hospitality, production, logistics, or coordination is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift, carry, load, and move event equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event preparation, setup, operations, and breakdown.
• Organize production equipment movement, transportation schedules, and deployment requirements.
• Provide direction and support to event crews and hourly employees; train new staff.
• Assist with hospitality operations and event infrastructure when needed.
• Follow safety requirements, inspect equipment, and maintain logs and checklists.
