Job summary

Greenawalt Hospitality is seeking a Traveling Event Production Manager to lead live-event operations across the Southeast and beyond. This hands-on role coordinates crews, equipment, and logistics to build, operate, and dismantle events at venues nationwide.

The position requires significant travel, physical work, and strong teamwork. Starting salary is $45,000–$55,000 with benefits and opportunities for growth within a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Logistics, or related discipline is a plus.
• Previous experience in event production, live entertainment, construction, hospitality, logistics, or operational support preferred.
• Leadership, supervisory, or crew management experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for company vehicle insurance coverage.
• Ability to lift, carry, load, unload, and move event equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Availability for overnight travel, weekends, evenings, holidays, and changing event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise event crews during installations, operations, and breakdown.
• Provide hands‑on instruction and guidance to new employees.
• Reinforce clear communication and teamwork throughout deployments.
• Encourage employees to follow established procedures and complete assignments efficiently.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
• Assist with setting up event infrastructure, beverage stations, and hospitality service areas.
