Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Class B Lineman - Overhead to join our field crew. The role covers construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems across multiple locations and may require out-of-state travel based on customer demands.

Employees perform physically demanding work with energized systems, set poles, install transformers, and troubleshoot primary and secondary circuits. A CDL permit and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License permit within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead lines.
• Strings overhead wire and sets poles and anchors.
• Installs transformers, switches and switchgear.
• Troubleshoots in primary and secondary systems.
• Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel and work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays.
