Job summary

TAM Residential is seeking a Floating Lead Maintenance Technician to support our nationwide portfolio in Washington State. You will travel to communities, oversee maintenance operations, perform repairs, and lead maintenance staff to deliver top-quality service.

The role requires strong hands-on skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, plus a commitment to safety and resident satisfaction. A valid driver's license and flexible schedule are a must.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance required.
• Ability to travel to communities up to 75% of the time.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools, equipment, and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry, appliance repair.
• Operations: respond to service requests within 24 hours, on-call duties, inspections, inventory, training staff.
• Safety & Compliance: safety standards, chemical storage, MSDS, weekly inspections.
• Administrative: inventory, data entry, professional appearance and resident relations.
