Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Floating Lead Service Technician to supervise and coordinate maintenance across our apartment communities. You'll oversee make-ready, preventative maintenance, and rehab projects to meet safety and quality standards.

You'll inspect facilities daily, manage a small team, and ensure work aligns with budgets while complying with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. On-call availability and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
2+ years of supervisory experience (required).
3+ years of multi-family maintenance experience or at least 3+ years of commercial maintenance experience (required).
EPA Sec 608 Certification - Type I + Type II or Type Universal (required).
Budget information handling and variance identification to maintain financial standards.
Under Community Manager, manage maintenance HR objectives: training, scheduling, coaching.
Maintenance skills across plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and electrical repairs.
Must have reliable transportation, read/write/speak English, valid driver's license.
Able to stand/walk long periods, climb ladders, and lift 50+ pounds.
Willingness to be on-call and work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Inspect grounds, buildings and community features daily for safety and liability concerns.
Oversee physical property maintenance, make-ready, and rehab projects to ensure quality and expediency.
Maintain organized maintenance shop and ensure safety standards.
Schedule, supervise and train maintenance staff under the Support Team Supervisor.
Provide progress reporting to stakeholders and assist during on-call emergencies.
