Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Inventory Control/Procurement professional to support multiple facilities and customers in a broad geographic area. You will manage shipping/receiving, procurement, and inventory accuracy while coordinating with customer POC, directors, and plant managers across sites.

The role requires 3+ years in related fields, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel including overnight trips. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; higher degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or science a plus.
• 3+ years in Inventory control/procurement/shipping/receiving or inside sales a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple facilities and customers in a strategic geographic area and may perform job functions of Coordinators, Technicians, Material Handlers, or Glass Washers as needed.
• Travel outside of the designated territory may be required.
• Coordinate and lead team efforts to meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Interface with customer POC, purchasing directors, facility directors, and plant managers.
