Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on, on-site technology support for a multi-clinic dental group. You will work with a third-party IT provider to ensure timely tech support and will travel between clinics to install, configure, and troubleshoot equipment.

The role is part-time, approximately 80 hours per month, with scheduling based on clinic needs and IT projects. This is a hands-on position offering variety across locations.

Qualifications

• Serve as the primary on-site IT resource across multiple dental clinic locations.
• Collaborate with the third-party IT provider to resolve technology issues and complete IT projects.
• Travel to clinic locations to provide on-site support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support across multiple dental clinics.
• Purchase and configure computers, servers, and other IT equipment.
• Set up computers and technology for new and existing users at clinic locations.
• Install networking equipment and ensure connectivity.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Coordinate replacement and deployment of technology equipment across clinics.
