Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a skilled Technician to install and service refrigeration systems for supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities. You will read plans, install piping and components, and ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Expect on-site work with potential overtime, training opportunities, and a sign-on bonus where applicable. Requires 5 years related experience, a valid license, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of related experience.
• Technical degree preferred.
• EPA 608 certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Physically able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented and highly motivated.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and out of town as required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of refrigeration systems in grocery and cold storage facilities.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
• Read plans, blueprints, and equipment specs for proper installation.
• Maintain truck inventory and follow vehicle maintenance guidelines.
• Read, analyze, and interpret contract documents and service bulletins.
• Work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
