Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent for its Advanced Facilities Group in Council Bluffs, IA. You will plan, manage, and execute complex projects, overseeing materials, equipment, and team performance to meet timely, profitable completion.

You’ll operate within JE Dunn’s safety culture and standards. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with owners and design teams, and proven cost control and QA/QC capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of construction experience.
• Requires 3+ years of field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture on site and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Create and manage the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Monitor budget and costs via cost reports and data.
