Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise project sites, coordinate multiple subs and engineers, and manage safety, schedule, and budget for industrial food facility projects.

The role requires strong communication, client-facing skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams across design, engineering, and construction disciplines. Travel and on-site leadership are essential to success.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in construction science, building science, construction engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of design-build experience over industrial projects (strongly preferred).
• 4+ years of overseeing sub-contractors and driving the project schedule.
• 4+ years of client interaction experience - strong technical, organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible job site experience working on industrial building projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of construction activities including coordination of subcontractors and site safety programs.
• Oversite / supervision of any assigned field engineers or Jr Construction Managers when directed.
• Overseeing medium-sized projects and coordinating project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establishing and maintaining site safety procedures with the safety team.
• Overseeing process, mechanical and utility equipment installations and coordinating permits.
