Job summary

Michels Energy Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator to support safety programs across our U.S. projects. Based in Lubbock, TX, you will conduct job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response activities.

You will collaborate with operations to communicate and reinforce HSE programs, lead meetings and trainings, and participate in new hire orientations, with travel to projects nationwide as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role, and 5 years of experience in the heavy civil and/or construction industry
• Overhead distribution and transmission support, underground power, vertical foundations, and substation highly preferred
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentialing (desired)
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish (Desired).
• Ability to work a flexible and varied work schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time across the United States, working a rotational schedule
