Job summary

Michels Energy Holdings seeks a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator to lead site visits, audits, incident investigations, and emergency responses across projects in the United States. You will support operations by communicating and enforcing HSE programs and delivering trainings and orientations to new hires.

The role requires travel up to 100%, a flexible schedule, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities are preferred, with substations experience considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role.
• 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Experience in building substations preferred.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentialing (desired).
• A valid driver license and acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 100% across the United States.
• Flexible and varied work schedule, including nights and weekends.

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, and incident investigations.
• Lead emergency response activities.
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of HSE programs.
• Conduct meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations.
