Job summary

Michels Energy Holdings, Inc. seeks a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator to conduct job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations and emergency responses. You will support operations with HSE program communications, trainings, and orientation sessions.

The role requires extensive travel across the United States. Candidates should have a minimum of three years in safety and five years in the oil or gas industry, with a CDL and a valid driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role; 5 years in oil/gas industry.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentialing (desired)
• A valid driver license for the type of vehicles you may drive and a good driving record
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time across the United States
• Flexible and varied work schedule, including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations and audits to verify safety compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and emergency response activities.
• Assist operations with communication of HSE programs; conduct meetings and trainings.
• Deliver new hire orientations and safety briefings
