Job summary

Xanitos, Inc in Knoxville, TN seeks an Environmental Services Project Manager willing to travel nationwide (100%). You will assist in managing hospital Environmental Services departments, supervise staff, schedule shifts, and drive quality and safety standards under the Department Director.

The role emphasizes staff development, performance monitoring, inventory control, and implementing process improvements while maintaining a sanitary, orderly environment across accounts.

Qualifications

• One to three years of supervisory experience in a service-related field with high customer contact.
• Post-offer medical and background screening, including DMV check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection and interview candidates; schedule days off and vacations.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure staff receive orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Prepare disciplinary action notices and conduct follow-up as required.
• Maintain sanitary and orderly departments and promote Xanitos culture and management philosophy.
• Demonstrate leadership to meet performance plans.
