Job summary

WSP is seeking a High Voltage Transmission Inspector to support field inspections in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area and surrounding states. The role involves extensive travel (up to 100%), inspecting concrete placement, pipelines, earthwork, buildings, and electrical installations to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, equivalent diploma, or demonstrated proven equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
• Essential professional licensure/certification(s).
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Well-defined knowledge of construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, process, methods and techniques.
• Well-defined knowledge of relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data from the work site, surveys, plans, blueprints, and reports to support field inspections.
• Use surveying instruments and test equipment to perform inspections on projects of moderate complexity and scope.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing inspection findings with photos, sketches and calculations.
• Assist with risk identification, assessment, and issue resolution to improve construction quality and safety.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and coordinate with contractors to ensure schedule adherence.
