Job summary

CRH has an opening for a Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator in Mississippi. The role involves operating heavy equipment in open pit mine operations and requires at least three years of field experience with machines such as haul trucks, bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.

You will work in a team with foremen and co-workers, perform daily inspections and routine maintenance, follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures, report issues to management, and be willing to travel up to 75% and work nights or

Qualifications

• Two to five years’ experience in loader operations preferred.
• Previous related experience in the construction field and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment in pit and mining operations.
• Report any problems to your manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Follow directions of Foreman and daily task expectations.
• Perform daily pre– and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
