Job summary

CRH is seeking a Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator for Mississippi operations. The role involves safely operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and haul trucks in open pit mining, with up to 75% travel. You will work in a team environment, report issues to your supervisor, and help maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience in pit/mining.
• Two to five years experience in loader operations preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of duties.
• Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in pit and mining operations.
• Report any problems to your manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Perform daily pre– and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
