Job summary

PCI-SS is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site construction for government facilities across the United States. The role requires directing schedules, coordinating teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, maintaining project documentation, and communicating weekly with the Project Manager on budget and progress.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor or Associate degree in a related discipline.
• 10+ years Federal Construction Management/Leadership experience.
• Experience managing on-site construction for government facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Manage, coordinate, and supervise on-site construction from concept to final build.
• Maintain controlled documents and update obsolete documents.
• Determine cost-effective construction methods and schedules.
• Oversee materials, tools, equipment, and safety on site.
• Obtain permits and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Track project costs against budget and report to Project Manager weekly.
• Lead meetings with clients, contractors, vendors, and engineers to coordinate work.
• Record nonconformances and report to the Project Engineer.
