Job summary

PCI Federal (PCIF) and its subsidiaries are seeking an on-site Superintendent to lead government construction projects, including roof and HVAC replacements. You will manage safety, scheduling, and coordination from start to finish to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a focus on safety and client satisfaction. Travel is limited to project needs, and duties include daily reporting and close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance is required and must be maintained.
• Driver's License required.
• OSHA 10 or higher certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• EM 385-1-1 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• 6+ years of commercial/industrial construction experience with 2+ years federal construction experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills across verbal, written, and reporting channels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA-compliant safety protocols.
• Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and government progress meetings.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to align with schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain controlled documentation and archive drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Provide detailed daily progress reports with photos on site activities.
• Conduct project meetings to review progress and address issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations, including Davis-Bacon reporting.
• Read and verify project drawings to ensure installations follow approved specs.
• Troubleshoot construction method issues and provide practical solutions.
• Oversee delivery and use of materials and equipment to meet productivity goals.
• Supervise teams and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders.
• Plan and manage project master schedule and 2-3 week look-ahead work.
