Caddell Construction requires a Superintendent - Governmental to lead field operations on varied government projects. You will supervise craft workers and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with plans, schedule, and safety standards.

Extensive travel is required; strong communication with owners and project teams is essential. Salary range reflects senior responsibilities and nationwide assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma/GED and four years' experience in the construction industry as foreman or assistant superintendent required.
• Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and four years' experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and subcontractor coordination skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project superintendent and PM to finalize operations plan, layout and schedule.
• Manage day-to-day field work of crafts and subcontractors via foremen or reps.
• Maintain communications with engineering, QC and safety to ensure drawings and schedule compliance.
• Review plans, budgets and estimates with PM and superintendent to align quantities and manpower.
• Contribute to short-term look-ahead schedules and weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Assist in planning material receiving, storage and handling.
• Resolve productivity and interface challenges on site.
• Maintain positive relations with owner and project partners.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor.
