Job summary

Turner Construction in Monroe, LA is seeking a Traveling General Superintendent - Self Perform Drywall to supervise field SPO operations on large projects and serve as a subject matter expert for construction operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering/construction management and 20+ years of experience, with deep SPO and OSHA knowledge and proven leadership to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Construction Operations including Self-Perform Operations (SPO).
• Extensive OSHA knowledge and project safety programs.
• Strong understanding of contract documents, schedules, and costing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise SPO construction of mega or multiple projects and guide staff.
• Coordinate assignments with SPO senior project leadership.
• Review staffing projections and WIP with SPO Superintendents.
• Develop logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early activities.
• Monitor project schedules, ROJ dates, and recovery plans.
