Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent to lead complex projects within the National Healthcare Division, with 100% travel to various sites. You will oversee safety, schedule, budget, subcontractors and project teams, ensuring quality and on-time delivery across the lifecycle.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s in construction management or related field, with 12+ years in construction and 10+ years in supervision. Valid driver’s license and Lean experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience with 10+ years field supervision.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and maintains an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develops work plans and coordinates on-site activities.
• Leads project meetings and manages progress updates.
• Creates and adjusts project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Monitors budgets and cost reporting.
• Communicates with owners, design team and authorities.
• Supports project closeouts and documentation.
