Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent to develop and execute project plans, oversee complex projects and lead teams on site in Springfield, MO. You will manage safety, quality, cost controls and scheduling, coordinating with owners, architects and trade partners to meet project goals.

Requires 12+ years in construction with 10+ years field supervision, and experience leading Lean initiatives on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 12+ years construction experience and 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on large projects and major complex scopes.
• Must have experience leading 100M+ aviation projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to maintain injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, staff, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans with subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Oversee project site, schedule, budget and cost reporting.
• Lead meetings and manage project communications with owners and design teams.
• Coordinate field staffing and procurement processes; support closeouts.
