Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent to develop and execute the project plan for highly complex projects. You will lead the field team, manage safety, coordinate subcontractors and ensure schedule and budget alignment.

This role requires 12+ years of construction experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proven leadership in Lean processes. It involves traveling full-time to project sites and delivering results in line with JE Dunn’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of complex projects from planning to completion.
• Manages safety culture and mentoring for staff and subs.
• Coordinates and manages subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC.
• Develops work plans and schedules, and tracks progress.
• Oversees budget, cost reports and change orders.
• Represents project in owner meetings and OAC sessions.
• Ensures quality standards and contract compliance.
• Supports project closeouts with documentation and owner coordination.
