Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent to lead complex projects with autonomy and accountability. This role requires 100% travel to project sites nationwide and will manage safety, quality, schedule and budget in alignment with JE Dunn’s standards.

You will direct field teams, coordinate subcontractors, develop work plans, lead daily standups and progress meetings, and ensure on‑time project delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects.
• Valid and unrestricted drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture on site.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job/workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and QA/QC.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates project site care and control.
• Leads daily standups and weekly trade meetings.
• Manages project schedules with PM.
• Participates in project reviews and closeouts.
