Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards, ensuring food safety, and delivering friendly, customer-focused service to enhance the guest experience.

The role includes audits, inspections, staff training, and partnering with clients to address root causes of issues. Travel 50–70% with some evenings and weekends; a CP-FS certification or ServSafe is a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Meet CP-FS certification requirements
• Available to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays and evenings as needed
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us)
• Strong knowledge of food safety is preferred
• ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s) a plus
• Excellent listening, organization, communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections
• Observe and ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Provide training and coaching to staff
• Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions
• Maintain documentation and records
• Influence others with tact and provide constructive feedback
• Work autonomously with a flexible schedule
• Travel 50%–70%, with some evenings and weekends
