Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will conduct audits, observe food safety practices, and partner with clients to implement corrective actions. The role requires CP-FS certification or pursuit, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel 50–70%.

Qualifications

• CP-FS certification required or to be obtained
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us)
• CP-FS certification(s) a plus, strong food safety knowledge, excellent organization and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments that measure conformity to regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients
• Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices
• Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans
• Teach and coach clients to create a safer and healthier workplace for their customers
• Travel 50%–70%, or 8–10 days per month, including some evening and weekend work
• Conducting Audits and Inspections
• Implementing and Monitoring food safety
• Training and Educating staff
• Investigating food safety incidents
• Ensuring compliance with regulations
• Maintaining documentation and records
• Ability to influence others and provide constructive feedback
