Job summary

Cable Services Company Inc. is seeking a full-time Fleet Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel and gas-powered vehicles and equipment. This role requires travel to job sites and vendor locations, with overnight stays possible.

A valid CDL is required, and the ideal candidate will be safety-minded and self-motivated. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, engine and hydraulic system repairs, and documenting work in the fleet management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license with clean driving record required.
• DOT physical and criminal background checks required.
• Experience with diesel and gasoline engines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose diesel and gas engine problems.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes and lubrication.
• Repair engine components and electrical systems.
• Inspect hydraulics, brakes, transmissions and cooling systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and document repairs in the fleet system.
• Travel to job sites for on-site repairs and emergency maintenance.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols.
