Job summary

American Cementing LLC seeks an experienced Mechanic I-III to inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment. You will run diagnostic tests, maintain key vehicle systems, and support safe fleet operations.

The role requires high school diploma or GED with diesel tech training preferred. DOT standards compliance and strong troubleshooting skills are essential. On-site work with potential overtime in peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or certifications in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Oil and gas industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections in accordance with DOT standards.
• Run diagnostic tests to determine vehicle issues and execute necessary repairs.
• Replace and rebuild components including engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and braking systems.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Coordinate third-party repair services when necessary.
• Support and mentor other technicians in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
• Adhere to HS&E procedures and company policies.
