Job summary

Lemartec Corporation seeks a Fire Protection Superintendent to lead subcontractors, coordinate trades, and maintain progress per the Master Schedule. This role requires strong leadership, plan interpretation, and mentorship across teams.

You will travel nationwide (up to 100%), with 6-8 months per project, plus per diem and potential vehicle allowance. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' work experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• OSHA certification and knowledge of safety standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6).
• Ability to travel across the US; willingness to relocate.
• Strong scheduling, planning and document control skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer permit documents and control.
• Review subcontractor scope of work.
• Coordinate safety meetings and ensure project safety.
• Manage project access and traffic.
• Oversee tool/equipment inventory and rentals.
• Coordinate testing and certificates (concrete/soil).
• Update master schedule with PCM and run 3-week look ahead.
• Maintain Daily Log Reports (Procore) and As-Built drawings.
• Schedule project inspections and finalize close-out documentation.
• Ensure quality control of materials and site benchmarks.
