Job summary

Lemartec Corporation is seeking a Fire protection Superintendent to expertly schedule, manage, and coordinate subcontractors and labor crews to meet the project Master Schedule. The ideal candidate has construction Superintendent leadership experience and a strong ability to interpret plans, specifications, codes, and design documents.

This traveling position may require up to 100% travel across the US, with assignments in multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' work experience as a construction Superintendent; in lieu of degree, 10+ years of work experience.
• OSHA certification and knowledge of safety standards.
• Experience with scheduling software and document control (MS Office, scheduling programs).

Responsibilities

• Permit document administration and control
• Review and understanding of subcontractor's scope of work
• Coordinate safety meetings and overall project safety responsibility
• Control project access and traffic
• Maintain tool/equipment inventory, rental coordination
• Coordinate project testing and certificates (concrete/soil)
• Daily progress discussions with PM/PCM/PFE and reporting
• Update 3-week look ahead and master schedule with PCM
• Maintain Daily Log Reports (Procore)
• Maintain As Built drawings for final submittal
• Coordinate and schedule inspections and close-out documents
• Quality control of installed materials and equipment
• Site layout and benchmarks control
