Job summary

Lemartec Corporation is seeking a traveling Fire Protection Superintendent to manage subcontractors, coordinate safety meetings, and drive progress against the master schedule on multiple project sites across the United States.

The role requires a degree in Engineering/Construction Management (or 10+ years’ field experience), OSHA knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills. Extensive travel is expected, with per diem and potential vehicle allowances offered.

Qualifications

• Must have project scheduling, planning, organization and document control.
• Superior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectors.
• OSHA Certification and in-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/document control software.

Responsibilities

• Permit document administration and control.
• Review and understand subcontractor scope of work.
• Coordinate safety meetings and project safety responsibilities.
• Control project access and traffic.
• Maintain tool/equipment inventory and rentals.
• Coordinate project testing and certificates (concrete/soil).
• Daily progress reporting with PM/PCM/PFE and QA/QC.
• Maintain master schedule and look-ahead planning.
• Prepare Daily Log Reports (Procore).
• Maintain As-Built drawings for submission.
• Coordinate and schedule inspections and close-out documentation.
• Quality control of installed materials and equipment.
• Site layout and benchmark control.
