Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair and test Mitsubishi Machining products at customer facilities across the US.

Travel is Monday through Friday with weekends at home; accommodations are typically hotels near client sites. You will apply mechanical and electrical knowledge, interpret schematics, document issues clearly, and provide professional service to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions
• Other duties as assigned
