Job summary

Pace Packaging LLC seeks a Field Service Technician/Assembler to support customers by installing, starting up, and repairing Pace automated machinery at customer sites. Electrical and mechanical installations, factory acceptance tests, and on-site servicing are required.

The role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, and willingness to travel 75%+ domestically and internationally. Opportunity for growth and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical background with start-up/repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Install Pace machinery at customer locations (electrical and mechanical).
• Perform in-factory startup and commissioning of Pace machinery at customer sites.
• Perform in-factory repair/servicing at customer locations; troubleshoot issues.
• Generate detailed service reports and document activities.
• Engage with customers for aftermarket sales opportunities like upgrades.
• Set up and test variable frequency drives and servo controllers.
• Build, test, and validate equipment at the manufacturing facility.
• Provide shop support as an assembler when not on field assignments.
