Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Services Technician to provide hardware and networking support with a focus on cabling infrastructure. You will install, modify, and repair computer hardware, and run and terminate complex cabling systems across diverse sites.

A willingness to travel 50% of the time is required. You will be responsible for onsite support of desktops, laptops, and servers, diagnostics, and clear communication with customers regarding repair steps and timelines.

Qualifications

• Cabling experience with Cat6 and fiber optic cables.
• Low voltage electrical knowledge.
• BICSI and A+ certifications preferred (support provided).
• Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Cabling infrastructure: pulling cable, establishing pathways, and following best practices.
• Terminate and test Cat6, fiber optic, coaxial cables and patch panels.
• Install J-hooks, cable trays, ladders, raceways, and related hardware.
• Provide onsite hardware support for desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Run diagnostics and identify hardware/software issues.
• Communicate repair steps and timelines clearly with customers.
• Perform inventory management and adhere to operating standards.
