Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. (RTI) is seeking a Field Services Technician to install, modify, and repair computer hardware and manage cabling infrastructure on customer sites.

You will be responsible for the installation, modification, and repair of significant cabling systems while delivering high-quality service. If you enjoy traveling, working in a fast-paced environment, and have strong technical skills, we welcome your application.

Qualifications

• Cabling experience with Cat 6 and fiber termination.
• Low voltage electrical knowledge.
• BICSI certification is a plus; A+ certification desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license with clean record.
• Pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Cabling infrastructure: pull cabling, establish pathways, and follow best practices.
• Termination and testing: Cat 6 and fiber, and test other cabling.
• Installations: install J-hooks, racks, trays, conduits and raceways.
• Hardware support: onsite support for desktops, laptops and servers.
• Diagnostics: monitor systems, run diagnostics, identify issues.
• Customer communication: update customers on repair steps and timelines.
• Inventory: manage inventory and adhere to standards.
